I enjoyed learning how to use the new ruler I bought at Road to California. I don't know if you can tell on this quilt, but the prairie points are blue and red. They are really fun to make with this new ruler. I plan to add the same prairie points to the binding. My friend Debbie VanFossen helped me learn how to use the ruler. I finished another baby quilt for my great nephew. This one will be going to Oklahoma.
Now on to the next project :)
I took a fun class at Thimble Towne this weekend taught by Cindy Seitz-Krug. It was called fun fillers and backgrounds. I finished the machine quilting and now need to complete my stocking! It was fun to try new things...I loved using the silk thread.
The sailboat is another baby quilt I am working on for another great nephew!
